Vintage Design
The KNOLL INTERNATIONAL company was established in the USA through the collaboration between Hans Knoll and Florence Knoll Bassett. Many famous designers and artists such as Harry Bertoia, Eero Saarinen and many others provided the young, up-and-coming company with pioneering designs that are still internationally recognized today as design icons. But Florence Knoll Bassett also designed entire furniture systems for offices and homes that still exist today. Our elegant table has a generous dimension in diameter and offers 6 to 10 people space for meetings. The Swiss walnut veneer has been very well preserved with a fine veneer appearance.
In the 1950s, Florence Knoll Bassett designed a whole series of tables with square steel legs, chromed or painted black. The furniture captivated with its simple elegance and fine wooden surfaces. Our table comes from Swiss production of WB Form, a subsidiary of WOHNBEDARF AG from Zurich.
Top with Swiss walnut veneer, frame square steel tube chrome-plated, embedded plastic feet with screw plates, with orig. signed sticker.
