Vintage Design
A very unique chaise longue, model “Chip”, designed by Teppo Asikainen & Ilkka Terho and manufactured by Snowcrash in Finland around 1990.
Made of black plywood in a nice, ergonomically curved shape. It’s low design makes it a very inviting, relaxing chair that has a one of a kind appeal! Produced only for a short period of time and therefore a rare find. Resembling a snowboard or surfboard with narrow ends, one side for the headrest and double ends at the other side as legrests. It rests on small rubber legs that makes the piece seem like it’s slightly hovering and is a wonderful finishing touch to the unique lounger.
As shown in photos, the piece is labeled at it’s foot end.
