Vintage Design
An incredibly beautiful pair of antique Swedish Empire gilt wood side chairs. They were recently imported from Sweden, we would date them to around the 1880-1900 period.
The quality is outstanding, the gilt wood frames have an absolutely stunning design and a beautiful patina. There is profuse, crisp carving throughout, these so beautiful they looks as if they came out of a palace.
The condition is excellent for their age, we have had them re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. There is just some minor surface wear here and there.
