“Safari” Vase by Tamara Aladin for Riihimaki, Finland aka Riihimaen Lasi Oy. The top wider portion is smooth glass, the bottom column section is textured like ice. The color is a teal-blue, quite uncommon for this maker. 8 inches tall. Mouth blown glass into a mold.

The Riihimaki glassworks was founded in 1910, Riihimaki was renamed Riihimaen Lasi Oy in 1937. Tamara Aladin was one of their chief designers beginning in 1959. In 1990 the Riihimaki factory was closed.
