A rare, highly collectible 1860s Mintons Majolica Dessert Set, designed by Dr. Christopher Dresser. Often considered the most important British designer of the late-19thC, each piece is glazed in deep Mintons green, with a latticework basket weave rim and woven fan pattern in the center. Marked with Minton’s BB insignia, denoting their finest quality, and a date cypher indicating its creation in 1867. Service for ten makes this set even more exceptional, as it is a rarity to find individually.
