Ten piece Spode New Faience dessert service dating to the Regency period (think Jane Austin!), circa 1820. Brown and green transferware pattern with hand-enameled Chinoiserie pattern of flowers and birds. Marked on back. The early 19th century Spode Chintz patterns are highly sought after by collectors. Would also make a fabulous wall grouping. Dimensions: oval bowl, 11″L x 7.75″W x 2″H; round bowl, 9″L x 8.75″W x 1.5″H; 8 plates, 8.5″Dia x 1″H.
