Designed by George Nelson these early production pieces are sized and proportioned for today’s higher matrasses and beds which is rare in items from the 1950’s . Manufactured by the Herman Miller Furniture company model # 4708 not marked but appears in the 1955-1956 Herman Miller catalog page 18 .
