Byzantine Cream Jeweled Silk Modesty-Dressing Panel Skirt Wedding Gown – M, 1968

Cream maxi gown with high mock neck, bust darts and tapered sleeves; 2 ¾” inset cummerbund waistband with gentle gathers above and below. Straight skirt with 11 ¼” side vents and slash fingertip pockets; additional free-hanging front panel from waist to ankle. Panel skirt features bead- and jewel-crusted trim around all edges and down center; matching jeweled detail around throat and wrists. Rear metal zipper closure with two hooks and loops at rear neck, plus another three at rear waist; zippered wrists with single hook and eye at top. Hand-finished; lined in matching cream acetate.
