A superb large antique French hammered copper tripod footed firewood holder / coal or log bucket / wine cooler / jardiniere, circa 1890. This fine hand crafted bucket is heavy and well made with a lovely copper patina, solid brass lion head handles, brass paw feet, and copper rivets. It would be gorgeous by a fireplace or hearth with firewood or kindling and could also be used as a planter or champagne bucket large enough to hold several bottles. The diameter is approximately 13 inches and height is 13.25 inches.
