1901 Antique Reed & Barton Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Les Six Fleurs Salad Serving Set- 2 Pieces

This marvelous 2 piece solid salad serving set is created in gorgeous sterling silver by Reed & Barton silversmiths in the Art Nouveau style of Les Six Fleurs pattern. This beautiful pattern went into production in 1901 and is casted with many exquisite flowers in six different varieties, The lovely fork is gently shaped with pierced cut outs with shapely tines. The marvelous serving spoon is shell shaped. Hallmarks are: Sterling, Walking bird, R within a shield, Standing Lion. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Fork length from top to bottom=9-1/2 inches, Width at widest=3 inches, Spoon length from top to bottom=9-1/2 inches, Bowl width at widest=3 inches, Depth of bowl=7/8 inch, Weight=10.45 Troy ounces. This marvelous Reed & Barton salad serving set has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from cracks or repairs. There is very light scratching on the fork, near the tines, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of these lovely serving pieces. This beautiful set is the perfect addition to your holiday dining service and coordinates well with other patterns or would make a fantastic wedding gift!
