Svend Åge Eriksen Sofa Set for Glostrup Møbelfabrik, 1960s.

Yellow armchair set consisting of a sofa and two armchairs in mid-century modern style. The set was designed by Svend Åge Eriksen, a renowned Danish furniture designer, who styled a wide range of items in the 1950s and 1960s, at a time when Denmark was receiving international recognition for its furniture. He is known for the originality and timelessness of his style. His works are simple and modest, crafted in natural materials such as rosewood and teak, and, in particular, are free of sharp edges.

His pieces include tables, desks, sofas, and hall furniture, inspired by nature with soft, organic, elegantly curved lines. He has worked with exotic woods and colorful materials. Vodder has always envisaged the interplay of form and function, for example, new drawer shapes to avoid handles.

His works were very popular on the American market, in the 1960s, the furniture not only reached the White House but could be seen in banks, airline offices, embassies, and hotels across the globe.

Black Mid Century 3 Seater Settee & 2 Matching Armchairs. The actual sofa and chairs are in great condition for age, the odd signs of wear. The cushion foam is hard and crumbling in places and the seat covers are worn, so would need replacing. Sizes : settee 172 cms in length, 83 cms high, 75 cms depth. The iconic “Togo” sofa, originally designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in 1973, has become a design mid-century design classic. It is an extremely versatile modular sofa that can be used alone or paired with other pieces from the same range. Made completely from foam, with three different densities, this sofa range was built for comfort. The beige colour ties in well with most interior spaces and with its low seating position and instantly recognisable pleated fabric design, these two sofas have a perfectly relaxed aesthetic feel.

They offer a variety of solutions. They can be placed facing each other, or at ninety degrees, like any other pair of sofas and the suite also comprises of a single seater and its foot stool. More importantly these sofas are completely original and have not been refilled or reupholstered in the way that so many have, thus keeping the appeal of owning an original Togo sofa.

This lobbytop living room set consists of a three-seater sofa and 2 armchairs made of black leather. The soft, high-quality leather on both the sofa and both armchairs is in very good condition. The solid metal frames covered with rubber-like plastic are flawless and have a plastic shell into which the cushions are placed and inserted. The sofa is 200 cm long and, like the armchairs, offers excellent seating comfort.

Series: GE-420. 2 armchairs and 1 stool. Hans Jørgen Wegner set. Original classic lounge set consisting of 2 armchairs and a footstool. The chairs are tiltable and can thus be converted into a lounge or a daybed. The set is made of solid oak. Original cushions and original cover with green horizontal stripe in the back cushion. The set looks very nice and can be used directly.

No damage. Fabric is pale green with a dark green horizontal stripe. Fabric and cushion in good condition with few signs of use. The stool measures: width: 72, depth: 61 cm. When the stool is horizontal, it measures 130 cm. Seat height: 36 cm.
