The Iconic Wire Chrome Diamond Chair was Originally Designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952.

The chair is in good vintage condition, but in keeping with their age, does show very signs of wear a black leather seat pads. (as shown in the pictures).

‘Harry Bertoia (1915-1978) was an Italian-born artist, sculptor, and modern furniture designer.’

I acquired these fine walnut chairs in need of restoration and reupholstering. Originally they had a garish red velvet. I decided to make the new look more subtle. Supple button tufted leather seats and armrests and back, an elegant floral luxury fabric on the back rests. These beautifully designed chairs are rescued from kitsch and can become heirlooms.
